Go to tool and then go to security option and set your password. You can set two types of password one for open and one for editing. You should set both the passwords.

Hi all,

I need to know how to either prevent anyone from open an excel file when it's open by my application and written to or only let the file being opened write-protected during the write session.

Thanks

Its simple save as your file and click on tools button, then select general options and assign a password to lock your file.

Hello
It is possible in word to protect the complete table but you can not protect individual cell in the word document

u can protect the whole table - by using Word's Forms protection.
