The marquee tag is a non-standard HTML element which causes text to scroll up, down, left or right automatically. We can use marquee tag to scroll text or image in different directions. The text placed inside the marquee tag will start scrolling horizontally across the screen or the web page. |

<MARQUEE ...> is often regarded as one of the "evil" tags, and that perception alone might be enough reason to not use it. Most Web designers and developers are glad that the marquee tag is dead and buried. |
