Hello friends I would like to become a good PHP developer in leading Web Site Design Company. I have only basic knowledge about PHP but I can't build a site with this knowledge so would you please help me to suggest me a site which provide step by step tutorial for building a PHP website.

I prefer to build every website from scratch. While this may add a few hours to the project it also allows for the most flexibility. |

Create a design for a website first. Pick some stuff that you want to include with your site. As you go along, you will encounter some things that you need to add with your website.

Well i am using Rasmus Lerdorf book for over a year now. And it has been a lifesaver. According to me it is so handy to have a constant reference close at hand. Even with the wonderful PHP docs available at php.net. This book is very useful, particularly if you're learning PHP after knowing another language. For the more information you can search on Google from where you can get lots of information. |

Hi,
I like to ask,
People are switching from JSP to PHP because webspace is cheaper for php as compared to JSP, Does it effect anywhere to site by security point of view?
As far as my perception, JSP Sites are far more reliable than PHP because they includes java beans technologies.
If someone can append my knowledge than, It will be really helpful for me.
