Hello
There are many ways to tie together Facebook and Twitter. At the most basic level, a Facebook status can be automatically tweeted, or a tweet can be posted as your new Facebook status. Personally, I like to keep them separate. I use both social networking sites for business, but the audiences on each are somewhat different. The language I use in a tweet can be different than in Facebook, and I might extend the Facebook status a bit without the character limit. Also, certain Twitter language just doesn't make sense within the Facebook context, such as hashtags (#design) and @ mentions. While it is convenient to tie them together, I don't mind the extra minute (literally, at most) spent posting in both places and making a slight adjustment. |
